What Is Bike Xtreme?
Bike Xtreme is an extreme motocross racing game with steep hills, ramps, and trick-based scoring. Complete race courses while pulling off flips and jumps for bonus points — crash too hard and you restart the checkpoint.
How to Play
Accelerate with the gas button (or right arrow), lean forward and backward mid-air with the tilt keys to land cleanly. Hitting a ramp with full speed launches you into flip territory — hold the lean key to rotate and release to land upright.
Controls
- ← → — accelerate / brake
- ↑ / ↓ — lean forward / backward
Tips
Land flat or slightly front-heavy to maintain speed after jumps. Rear-heavy landings bounce you off the track. Time your flips conservatively early on — an incomplete rotation means a crash and a checkpoint restart.
Physics and Bike Handling
Bike Xtreme uses a simplified motorcycle physics model. Your rider's weight shifts during jumps by pressing lean keys; forward lean accelerates, rear lean slows and lifts the front wheel. Each bike has different handling profiles — smaller bikes accelerate faster but bounce harder on landings, while heavier bikes are stable but sluggish off ramps.
Tracks are designed around three core challenges: precise landings after big air, tight turns on uneven terrain, and obstacles like rocks and logs that require perfect timing.
Trick Scoring
Flips are scored on rotation count — a clean 360° flip is worth more than a sloppy one. Combine flips with whips (lateral bike-angle changes) and no-handers (letting go of the controls mid-air) for combo bonuses. The best runs include at least one big-air trick per jump without sacrificing landing quality.
Risk vs reward. A double backflip is worth 2× the points of a single backflip, but the timing window for landing is half as wide. Most top players save multi-flips for final jumps.
Air time matters. Some ramps have air-time milestones (3 seconds, 5 seconds, etc.) that trigger bonus currency. Knowing which ramps trigger which bonuses is essential for competitive runs.
Track Tiers and Unlocks
The game has 6 track tiers, each themed (Desert, Mountain, Forest, Beach, Volcano, Snow). Each tier introduces new obstacles and weather effects: Desert has sand pits that slow you mid-jump; Mountain has thin air that affects jump physics; Volcano has flowing lava as an instant-fail obstacle. Tier 6 unlocks the Snow biome with ice-slippery surfaces that demand careful throttle control.
FAQ
- Q: Is Bike Xtreme free?
- A: Yes — fully free on Poki2 with no in-app purchases.
- Q: How do I unlock new bikes?
- A: Earn stars by completing tracks within target times. Three stars per track unlocks the next tier's bike.
- Q: Are there multiplayer races?
- A: Single-player against ghost times only. Multiplayer mode is not included.
- Q: What happens if I crash?
- A: You restart at the last checkpoint. Crashes cost time but don't cost your progress through the track.

Trick Combos and Score Multipliers
Trick combinations are the key to high scores in Bike Xtreme. A backflip followed immediately by a no-hander earns a 2× combo multiplier; chain three tricks and the multiplier climbs to 4×. Trick risks aside, longer combo chains pay exponentially, and a single perfect 5-trick combo scores more than ten mediocre single tricks combined.
Reserve mid-air rotations for big-air sections — small jumps don't give enough air time for full rotations, and a half-completed rotation counts as a crash attempt. Don't grip the throttle during rough landings. Releasing briefly on impact protects your rider's balance and prevents bike damage that costs points at the run end. Lean forward during descents to gain speed; lean back during ascents to maintain traction. The trick timing window is also tied to bike speed — slower bike = longer air time = more room for tricks.
Extra FAQ
- Q: Are there secret bikes to unlock?
- A: Yes — completing all levels with S-rank unlocks special retro bikes with unique handling.
- Q: Do levels have multiple routes?
- A: Most levels have at least one shortcut that bypasses a checkpoint but requires a precise trick combo to land safely.
