What Is 2048 Rogue?

2048 Rogue puts a roguelike twist on the classic 2048 puzzle — instead of plain numbers, tiles show creatures or objects that evolve as you merge them. Each run feels fresh thanks to randomised starting conditions and escalating difficulty.

How to Play

Use arrow keys to slide the entire board. Two matching tiles in the same row or column merge when they collide. Reach the target tile value to complete a run. The board resets on failure — roguelike style.

  • Arrow Keys / WASD — move tiles
  • Swipe — mobile

Tips

Prioritise keeping one edge locked — never move your highest tile away from its corner. When the board gets crowded, cycle through all four directions to find the move that opens the most space.
